| Rocket League Crosses Over With Portal Posted: 30 Nov 2015 03:17 PM PST Just when you thought it was safe to step on the pitch again, Psyonix strikes again. Last Friday, indie Rocket League developer-publisher revealed its Portal cross-over with nearly 10 new items from Valve's innovative title. The FREE Portal items in Rocket League will become unlockable Tuesday, December 1. Obtainable by playing a full game of Rocket League, the official Portal items are potentially rewarded at the end of every match, win or lose. All you have to do is keep playing until the match ends to earn the chance to get a new Aperture-themed goodie of your very own.

| Albion Online Explains the Zone and Flagging System Posted: 30 Nov 2015 02:48 PM PST With the Closed Beta of cross-platform sandbox MMORPG Albion Online now underway, developer Sandbox Interactive takes some time to explain their Zone and Flagging systems – two core structures in Albion Online that are aimed at keeping PvP fun and challenging for everyone. Like most MMOs, Albion Online provides specific zones for both PvE and PvP activities – a Green Zone and a Red Zone respectively. The Green Zone effectively protects beginners and gives non PvP players the freedom to move about without being killed by other players. This system works in tandem with the Flagging system, which has replaced their initial penalty system for attacking other players. In Albion Online, before being able to attack others in PvP, players have to "flag" themselves as hostile, during which time they are immobile for a minute. This discourages ganking, and it becomes easier for players to decide where to go and what to do based on the number of hostile players in an area. | First Black Desert Online Beta Test Begins Next Month Posted: 30 Nov 2015 02:22 PM PST Daum Games has announced that the first Beta test for its highly anticipated MMORPG Black Desert Online will begin Wednesday, December 16 at 7:00 a.m. UTC and end Tuesday, December 22 at the same time. As was the case in the alpha, players entering the first Beta test will be able to pick from the Warrior, Sorceress, Berserker, Ranger, and Wizard classes. Daum is very excited to announce that the very popular Tamer class will not only be added to the list of selectable characters at launch, but will also be available in the upcoming Beta! With the support of Heilang, the divine beast, Tamers can perform ruthless combination attacks or take enemies down on their own, by borrowing divine forces. Though innocent at heart, Tamers are able to channel their passion into a powerful fury that will sweep past any obstacle. To keep up with its peers, the Tamer has also received a class showcase video. In addition to introducing the Tamer, Daum Games is happy to share that the Calpheon region, including its major city with the same name, will also make its debut in the Beta. This largely rural area is one of Black Desert Online's most expansive, promising magnificent landscapes. For Black Desert Online's first Beta, several improvements have been made based on community feedback from the alpha stage. Players accessing the game in a few weeks will be able to observe the following changes and features:
