| Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn: Phase 1 of Beta Testing Slated for February Posted: 23 Jan 2013 04:17 AM PST The latest Letter from the Producer has been published on the Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn forum. In it, players are told that the first phase of beta testing is scheduled to begin in February. Players are also told that all races will be available for testing during the beta though all customization options will not.     |
| Rift: Scott Hartsman Leaving Trion Worlds Posted: 21 Jan 2013 04:40 PM PST In the latest Rift Year Two State of the Game letter, Scott Hartsman has announced that he is leaving Trion Worlds. According to the post, Hartsman indicated that he will still be playing Rift but does not indicate where he is going post-Trion.   |

| Firefall: Open Beta Events Scheduled Posted: 22 Jan 2013 07:24 AM PST The Firefall team has announced a series of public open beta events, the first of which is slated to go live on January 25th. Players will have forty-eight hours to check out Firefall and then two more events in which to participate later this spring.   |
| Elder Scrolls Online: Beta Signups for ESO Announced Posted: 21 Jan 2013 01:07 PM PST One of 2013's most highly anticipated games is now accepting beta applications. Bethesda Softworks and Zenimax Online Studios today announced that the beta signups have begun and interested parties can just head to the official site and register. Timing and exact details for the beta will come at a later date, but with the launch expected before the end of 2013, the Beta can't be far off.   |
