| Chrono Tales Now Open for Second Closed Beta Applications Posted: 27 Dec 2012 01:55 PM PST 
Chrono Tales is now making applications available for its second closed beta, scheduled to start on January 7, 2013 at 9pm Eastern (6pm Pacific). Previous closed beta testers are automatically eligible to return; newly interested players may apply by submitting their email. The new phase of closed beta will raise the level cap to 60 and introduce two new systems. Players will also be treated to a bunch of events and free mount giveaways. Players are encouraged to submit their reviews of the game on the forums or on the game’s Facebook fan page, to share feedback with the developers and have a chance for their review to be shared with the public. |

Joymax revealed today that its latest event for the world-renown free-to-play 3D MMOPG, Silkroad Online, proved close to impossible to complete. “Roc Time Attack!” was so challenging that players barely completed the event even with the help of the GM. Players were thrilled to be tested to their limits in the most nerve-racking event yet! Players across the globe showed satisfaction regarding the latest events at the official Silkroad Online Facebook page. Users commented that they enjoyed Silkroad Online’s latest update, “Ignite Silkroad Part 2. East & West Unite!” and all of its major enhancements including skill balances for both races (Chinese and European). But nothing has brought the most elite players to their knees the way the latest event “Roc Time Attack!” has! While the premise was simple the task was not. This ultimate challenge required both skill and team play as players had to successfully defeat every unique monster (sometimes even three at once!) within 10 minutes. Due to the difficulty of the event, Silkroad Online team is said to be contemplating the extension of the time limit. When successful grand rewards await, players earn epic drop items including weapons and armors from each unique monster. Plus, the two Rocs drop special Subscription Cards for random players which boosted the player’s level to near max, giving 30 million skill points and a player’s choice of any set of armor.

This week we discussed updates from the following games: The Aurora World, Continent of the Ninth Seal, Elsword, Blacklight Retribution, Grand Chase, Arctic Combat, Pirates of the Buring Sea, Grand Fantasia, & Eden Eternal. The Aurora World has been announced to launch into closed beta in the first quarter of 2013. Continent of the Ninth Seal gets a new expansion that includes the third job class for the Witchblade class. Elsword transforms into the sheath knight that dual wields blades. Blacklight Retribution releases the worlds end update that introduces a new hero and several new maps. Grand Chase releases a large update that features a new character and more. Arctic Combat gets a new update that includes a new game mode along with new maps and weapons. Pirates of the Burning Sea is leaving SOE and is being picked up by a new company. Grand Fantasia release the Return From Wonderland expansion. Eden Eternal also receives a new update with a new character. |
