Joymax Promises to Ignite Silkroad
Star Trek Online Launches Season 7 – New Romulus

Joymax announced today that they will be launching a new update for Silkroad Online this November.

Called “Ignite Silkroad,” the new update is designed to change and revitalize the gameplay of Silkroad Online, and includes improvements to the game system, benefits, events, and more. One of the new systems includes “Rested Experience,” letting players gain experience buffs when they are away from the game – a helpful boost as the experience curve is also being balanced.

For three weeks, returning players who were absent from Silkroad Online for at least a month will be able to enjoy a gift basket worth up to $129, filled with helpful items to put them back on the road.

“As the name ‘Ignite Silkroad’ suggests, Silkroad will return the burning excitement in the coming future and this update is only the tip of the iceberg,” said Nam-Chul Kim, CEO of Joymax. “Rookie players and veteran, current players and those returning, will have much to look forward to throughout these changes.”

Ignite Silkroad will launch on November 20. To celebrate, all Joymax games including Digimon Masters Online and Knight Age will grant players a one time 1000% experience gain item for a week.

Star Trek Online Launches Season 7 – New Romulus

Perfect World Entertainment has announced the launch of its latest update for Star Trek Online.

Star Trek Online Season 7: New Romulus finds players working with Romulan leader D’Tan in search of a new home world for Romulan refugees, where they may begin the process of building a new capital city.

Executive Producer Daniel Stahl commented, “This is the first time Star Trek fans will have a chance to participate in the story of rebuilding the Romulan Empire. Star Trek Online players will experience first-hand the plight of the Romulus survivors as they uncover mysteries surrounding their new home world. In Season 7: New Romulus, players will take an active role in shaping the conflict to come as they fight for the reputation necessary to improve relations and gain support of the Romulan Empire.”

Prison Block is a browser-based game where you try to carve out an empire inside of the prison walls. Train you stats to protect yourself from other inmates. Get your hands on a variety of weapons and protective equipment. Do some jobs to make some cash, or raid fellow cellmates to take theirs. Need a break? Take some time out in the rec room to play some games.

Prison Block puts you behind bars to see how well you survive. You can create a prisoner with a variety of facial options, and train their stats up. You can explore the prison for items, attempting to steal various things or trade for them. You can find a variety of items used for weapons and armor, so you can defend yourself properly. Raiding other players is a good source of money, however, be careful of hits being placed on you, as more powerful characters can come and collect on your head.
