Cabal 2 - AI Ascent Update Goes Live

The Cabal II site has been updated with the patch notes from today's deployment of the AI Ascent update. The content expansion adds the Sand Sea Ruins zone for players at or above level 50. There is no faction requirement to enter and players can level up to 60.

Conan Exiles - Major Changes Coming in Frozen North Expansion + Trailer

The Conan Exiles site has been updated with a new creative director's letter that lays out some of the major changes coming to the game with the arrival of the Frozen North expansion. The expansion will be released on August 16th and brings a number of feature adjustments including in character and content rebalance, a new UI called the Exiles Journey to provide a bit more direction; combat updates, AI & animation improvements, controls & UI tweaks and much more.

Overwatch - London & LA Teams Added to Growing Professional League

Two more teams have been announced for the forthcoming Overwatch League, one in London and the other in London. These two join the seven previously announced teams, each hosted in a city with the eventual promise of a dedicated venue over time. From now through October 30th, owners can recruit players for the League with a guaranteed $50,000 salary along with insurance benefits.

World of Warcraft - Fresh Wave of RMT Bans + EU Forums Ignored? Blizz Says No

A ban wave has been initiated in World of Warcraft to close accounts for trading real-world cash for dungeon / raid clears as well as a series of bans for account sharing "in order to gain a competitive advantage during raid progression". Both are considered violations of the Terms of Use. There is no mention of the length of the bans.

This individual has spent an inordinate amount of time recreating locations and structures from in and around Elder Scrolls Online. Some of these dioramas are beyond impressive. Thorsten goes into detail about design, finding the right LEGO bricks and much more in the interview as well as providing screens of several of his more notable creations.

The Civilization series has often been my escape game of choice. It shouldn't be too hard to imagine why a game series known for its addictiveness (just. one. more. turn.) would be a great candidate to escape into, but it really is where I go to when I need to just disconnect and burn some hours away.
