- If You Believe Google Trends, Prey is in Serious Trouble

Arkane Studios released their latest action RPG, Prey, last week and it's already on shaky ground. Despite critical favor and a whole lot of positive word of mouth, we might be witnessing the biggest failure of Bethesda marketing in some time. This week in the RPG Files, we're going to look beyond Metacritic and what our gaming friends are saying. Although according to Google Trends, they're not saying much of anything.

Many fans on the Grand Theft Auto forum were hoping that a leaked image showing a cowboy hat wearing dude was a teaser for Red Dead Redemption 2. While not from that game, the image comes as great news for MMO fans in the form of Wild West Online, an open world PvP extravaganza being built for PC. Developers of WWO have plans to reveal much, much more about the game in about two weeks when they will bring their project to a $250k KickStarter.

To say that I am impressed with the power of ASUS' AMD RX580 is an understatement. I've long been an NVIDIA-based PC gamer, but there was a time back in the AGP days where ATI (AMD) could do no wrong for me. On the verge of the Vega cards coming out this year, one would think the $279 RX580 wouldn't perform so well, since it's basically on par with NVIDIA's 1060 line of cards. But that's the rub...
