Screeps also allows for players to purchase a monthly subscription model that will increase their CPU resource limit in the game. In Screeps players can learn JavaScript while putting their newfound programming skills to the test by programming the AI for their units. A player’s entire colony will be controlled by their JavaScript code and they will need to be directed to harvest resources, build units, conquer territories, and trade with other nearby colonies. As you take over more territory you’ll gain an even larger foothold in the game world, but that won’t be an easy feat with other players’ units also acting based on their programming. You’ll need to outsmart and outcode your opponents if you want to become one of the players with the biggest in-game footprint. Opponents don’t have to be found online either because singleplayer and LAN game modes are also supported. Even when you aren’t playing your units will act based on their programming, so you’ll have to program them while keeping in mind you won’t always be at your computer to babysit them. Whether you need to go walk the dog, go to work, or make some food only good coding practices will ensure that all stays well until your return. You don’t have to write your code in the in game editor either. You are free to create your next AI masterpiece in your favorite external IDE, giving you the utmost freedom and comfort to develop how you’d like. Screeps is filled with unique challenges for all players, no matter their JavaScript experience. Login, meet your first unit, and help it grow your artificially intelligent empire to the next level!

In the near future resources are rapidly depleting and governments are no longer in control of the global economy. Instead private corporations run the world and they are constantly at arms over the few resources that are left, but who is to fight for them? That’s where you come in. You will become a raider, selling your services to these corporations and accomplishing localized missions for them. Fight well with your well-armed vehicle and you will be duly rewarded for your efforts, but you’d be surprised just how much tactic and thought goes into a raider’s daily life. As you progress you’ll be able to customize your vehicles and buy armor for them, helping you take on even tougher missions that only the most prepared raiders could possibly accomplish. By enhancing your speed and firepower to make sharp turns and earth-shattering explosions nobody will be able to thwart your efforts. Many different types of vehicles are available for you to collect, whether it be a speedy race car or a powerful off-roader. One way or another you’ll get the performance you desire! Two different game modes can currently be played in the game: Deatmatch and Team Deathmatch. In Deathmatch anywhere from 2 to 10 players will battle it out in a free-for-all game mode where the objective is to destroy all other vehicles. In Team Deathmatch two squads of up to 5 raiders will square off with unlimited spawns, trying to destroy the most enemy team members before the end of the match. Collecting vehicles and customizing them is only the beginning. Learn what it means to become a reaction driver and unleash destruction on whoever gets in the way of your bounty in Metal Carnage!

Posted: 21 Jan 2017 12:02 PM PST Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen is a buy-to-play fantasy MMORPG developed by Visionary Realms for PC. The game takes place in the magical world of Terminus, an extremely diverse land created from a collision between different realms and times, resulting in each of their respective civilizations coming together in a single world. People and cultures will clash for power and form alliances among one another as they all try to gain some sort of foothold in this completely new universe. In Terminus even the environment itself has a story tell! You will be given the chance to become one of these unique, interesting races and explore lost realms. By interacting with the locals you’ll be given quests that will turn into full awe-inspiring adventures that you and your friends can experience together. The possible races you can choose to become part of are the Archai, Dwarves, Elves, The Dark Myr, Ogres, Humans, Halflings, Gnomes, and Skar. Each race has its own unique characteristics, as well as their own backstory and reasons for their decisions in the new world of Terminus. One of twelve different classes can be chosen for your character as well, each of which has its own unique role especially when considering joining a team of players. The possible classes are Cleric, Crusader, Dire Lord, Ranger, Rogue, Monk, Summoner, Enchanter, Wizard, Druid, and Shaman. Terminus isn’t a friendly world at all, which means players will have to learn to survive in extreme environments filled with area enchantments. Whatever environment you’re present in will alter the effectiveness of spells, sometimes for the better and other times for the worse. Knowing how to use your environment to your advantage will be what sets you apart from just any adventurer. A unique world with the ability to change based on player actions awaits in Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen. So what are you waiting for? Go make Terminus your own!
