GameStop has a bunch of strategy guides at half-off (Twilight Princess HD, etc.) Posted: 27 Dec 2015 03:00 PM PST So GameStop has a bunch of strategy guides on sale at half off. Before you dismiss the sale completely, some of these are actually pretty neat as far as collector item goes- and we can definitely see how die-hard fans of a series would pick one up. Beyond recently released strategy guide such as the Fallout 4 Vault Dweller's Survival Guide Collector's Edition (now out of stock online), you can actually grab 50 percent off on upcoming title's Collector's Edition strategy guides too. Neato upcoming titles includes:
Most are priced at $20 while the Wii U title strategy guides are usually at $17.49. You can also save on shipping charges if you use code SAVER during checkout if your order is $24.99 or more. If the Twilight Princess HD strategy guide is anything like the previous version, fans should be in for a treat. Game deals from Dealzon. Sales help support Destructoid. |
Posted: 27 Dec 2015 08:00 AM PST [Content Warning: Bigoted language, sexual violence] The definition of "safe spaces" varies depending on who you ask, but to me, a safe space is a place where you can be free of harassment regardless of your politics, race, nationality, sexuality, and gender or lack thereof. Currently, protests are being held at college and university campuses across the United States with students asking for safe spaces. But safe spaces aren't just for the real life and college campuses. The whole of gaming would be better off with more safe spaces as well. |
Cell games: I tried to build a pacifist utopia but the Internet ate me up Posted: 27 Dec 2015 07:00 AM PST The Internet. It's a place where cats reign, where strangers will give you DIY tips for making fucking machines [as in machines to sex; I am not being overly enthusiastic about the general idea of machines], where Silicon Valley venture capitalists will whine on Twitter that there's "nothing to do" in San Francisco and that the city lacks culture because there aren't enough fancy carpet stores. It is a public place, a nascent extension of our real world selves that we're still not quite sure socially how to handle. Otherwise ZenSephiroth89 wouldn't be telling gamenvape to kill himself over his stance on the subs-versus-dubs debate. |
Here are the doujin games of Comiket 89 Posted: 27 Dec 2015 05:00 AM PST Winter Comiket is almost here and that means Astebreed studio Edelweiss has another compilation video showcasing many of the Japanese indie games that will be on sale at this week's big event. Comic Market 89 kicks off Tuesday, December 29 and runs until New Year's Eve, by which time hundreds of thousands of people will have poured into the Tokyo Big Sight exhibition center to buy and sell rare self-published goods, including manga, music, games, and other trinkets. Anything catch your eye? Think of this as a sneak peek at games micropublishers like Playism, Fruitbat Factory, Carpe Fulgur, and Nyu Media might one day localize for western audiences. |
