Ragnarok online is the most played MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game) which is played by almost 40 million players around the world.

Ragnarok is published in many countries and has many servers all around the world.

My journey of Ragnarok Online began when Level UP games introduced Ragnarok Online game in India 7 years back, headquarters in Valecha chamber, Anderi, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. At the time when no online game were not even in existence in India.

Gaming Industry in India till date is totally a obsolete market where no mmorpg or online game exists.

I remember still when I started to play Ragnarok Online Game, there were two servers Chaos and Loki were in Chaos server had almost 2000 players logged in almost all the time and Loki server with almost 130 players.

Ragnarok Online consists of best gameplay mechanics, loads of quests, PvP – player versus player action, PvE – player versus environment action, Guild war also known as Agit seizes, Emperium Wars and more.

Ragnarok Online is based on 2D engine (Aegis) though players will never feel a 2D momentum while playing the game

Ragnarok Online Gameplay

Every Class begins with a basic class called Novice, then proceeds with higher class, each of these classes further proceeds into higher and higher class.

Classes in Ragnarok Online:

Basic Class: Novice

Tier 1 : Swordsman, Archer, Acolyte, Mage, Merchant, Thief

Tier 2: Knight, Crusader, Hunter, Bard, Dancer, Wizard, Sage, Priest, Monk, Assassin, Rogue, Blacksmith, Alchemist

Tier 3: Lord Knight, Paladin, High Wizard, Scholar, Sniper, Minstrel, Gypsy, Master Smith, Biochemist, Assassin Cross, Stalker, High Priest, Champion

Tier 4: Rune Knight, Royal Guard, Warlock, Sorcerer, Ranger, Maestro, Wanderer, Mechanic, Geneticist, Guiilotine Cross, Shadow Chaser, Arch Bishop, Sura

Special Class: Super Novice

Extended Class 1: Taekwon Boy/Girl, Ninja, Gunslinger

Extended Class 2: Taekwon Master, Soul Linker

How to start playing Ragnarok Online:

Register for Ragnarok Online Account
Download Ragnarok Online Game Client
Install Ragnarok Online Game Client
Run Ragnarok Online Game Client and Allow it to Patch

Run Ragnarok Online.

There will be information about updates and official notices. When you see the login screen, enter the account name and password used for the website.

Select a server and create a character.

Choose which sever you would like to create your character on. After you have selected the server you will see a character selection window with 5 empty slots. Choose any empty slot and click Make to create the character.

You can choose the character’s hair style and color. Afterwards, you may distribute stats into 6 categories according to what best fits your character’s needs.

Ragnarok Online Game Interface is quite simple which you can customize to your taste.

Each character has its own unique stats upon which the character grows and develops its own unique attributes.

STR : Strength	Increases attack strength and weight capacity.
AGI : Agility	Increases attack speed and dodge rate.
VIT : Vitality	Increases defense and vitality, as well as HP recovery.
INT : Intelligence	Increases magic attack and magic defense.
DEX : Dexterity	Increases accuracy and stabilizes the amount of damage done by a weapon. As well as lowers the cast time to some skills/spells.
LUK : Luck	Increases Critical hits and perfect dodge rate, and brings about lots of luck.

When I started to play Ragnarok Online, the character level was limited to 99/70 and now the base level has increased to 175.

Cons of Ragnarok Online MMORPG game :

You will not & cannot play Ragnarok Online with at least a graphic card ( I know how it goes :) )
Stable internet connection required (Monsters/players will farm you easily even before you do)
Addictive
You will become a robot forgetting that even you have a life
Ragnarok Online will become your life
Grinding, Grinding&Grinding if you do not quest for level up

Ragnarok Online is a short span of got me hooked to it and eat away tons of hours to days to months to years and I felt like playing Ragnarok Online in itself is my life and nothing else, questing, leveling up, grinding, collecting items, selling, upgrading weapons, PvP, Agit Seizes…. I cannot explain how it goes.

Since the release of Renewal in Ragnarok Online Game, players have a great option to opt for level up quests and this has made players life easier unlike earlier days where grinding was the only solution. I am so sure today too many players do grind majority of the time.

Ragnarok Online game Masters do conduct in-game events on occasions which strive many players.

Introductions of new events like USRC, Poring wars have not just run players into joy but also into a juvenile gaming spirit.

Over the years Ragnarok Online has become one of the most famed Online Game, where players keep on coming back no matter what, just by hearing its name. It has developed, and has seen constant changes in various terms, many official servers being constantly shut down, many of them been newly opened. Ragnarok Online remains the same focal point for player even though the game constantly strives to evolve.
