Persona 4: Dancing All Night has been delayed in Japan, Atlus has announced.

The rhythm game was scheduled to debut this autumn, but is now postponed until next year. No word on how this impacts the western release of the PlayStation Vita title.

Along with the news comes a flashy new trailer, which mostly serves to remind us that Teddie's Japanese voiceover is absolutely terrifying and will forever haunt our dreams.

This weekend at the Oculus Connect virtual reality conference in Los Angeles, CA, Oculus VR announced Crescent Bay, the next prototype on the path to the consumer version of the Rift.

The Crescent Bay is described as a massive leap forward compared to its predecessors. The new hardware reportedly features 360° head tracking, expanded positional tracking volume, improved weight and ergonomics, and high-quality integrated audio.

The headset is said to allow for a level of presence impossible to achieve with DK2, a statement Oculus backed up with a series of original demos available for attendees to try on the day.

Harmonix terminates support for Rock Band Network

Posted: 21 Sep 2014 08:00 AM PDT

Harmonix is discontinuing support for the Rock Band Network, the online service that allowed users to upload and sell downloadable tracks for the Rock Band series.

The network has produced more than 2,000 songs since opening in 2010, but has fallen into disrepair since Harmonix closed the official DLC pipeline in April 2013. The developer admits the service is "plagued with technical issues," but has resolved to focus its resources on other projects.

While the portal will remain open for the immediate future, with previously released content still available for sale, new submissions will no longer be accepted going forward.

Sony launching Internet TV service later this year

Sony plans to launch an Internet TV service in the US by year's end, Sony Computer Entertainment president Andrew House told The Wall Street Journal

The report asserts Sony has agreed to terms with Viacom, the parent company behind MTV, Nickelodeon and Comedy Central, to offer more than 20 channels and various on-demand programming via Sony devices, including PlayStation systems and web-connected televisions.

Sony is also in talks with other major network groups, such as Discovery, Time Warner and Starz. The measure comes as part of the company's initiative to expand its streaming services, which includes PlayStation Now.

Microsoft postpones Xbox One launch in China

Posted: 21 Sep 2014 06:00 AM PDT

The Xbox One's launch in China has been delayed, Microsoft announced this weekend.

The console was slated to arrive in the country on Tuesday, thereby becoming the first foreign videogame device officially sold on Chinese soil in 14 years. Now the company is revising its plans, and promises to release later this year.

"Despite strong and steady progress, we are going to need more a bit more time to deliver the best experiences possible for our fans in China," reads a Microsoft press release. "We look forward to launching in China by the end of this year."

"We are thrilled with the response we've seen in China," corporate vice president Yusuf Mehdi added, noting that pre-orders were beyond expectations and Microsoft wishes to provide the best experience possible for its fans.

The company still plans to go through with its launch party tomorrow at Shanghai's Oriental Pearl Tower, where 100 Xbox One consoles will be given away to attendees.

The final four duke it out today at Red Bull Battlegrounds

Posted: 21 Sep 2014 03:00 AM PDT

Yesterday was some of the most intense StarCraft II play that I have ever seen. First of all, if you missed it, you should watch the recording on Red Bull's site. Secondly, the rest of this post does contain spoilers so stop reading if you need to get caught up!

HOLY COW those Scarlett matches! Scarlett against PartinG was easily the best thing to happen yesterday. Both players were playing so well, and so many kudos to PartinG for his execution while his back was against the wall, even if he did go down in the end. If you haven't, I recommend checking out the statistics page on the tournament's site for all the games, as the level of details is fun to simply look at.

As for today, our remaining players are Polt, Bomber, Cure, and Trap, with Trap being the only non-Terran player of the bunch. All of these guys are really solid players, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't voting for Trap just so he can stick it to those damn Terrans.

The show is live now! Tune in over at the main website or Twitch.
