| Angry Birds Go! has a $125 car because of course it does Posted: 27 Nov 2013 03:00 PM PST Angry Birds Go! has soft launched over in New Zealand, and Pocket Gamer is giving a nice little break down of how the game plays. Their hands-on has discovered that the game is heavy on microtransactions, one of which includes a $125 car. There are normal cars you can get for free and rank up, but you can only upgrade them so far and the better cars all cost actual money. The Big Bang Special Edition well cost $125 alone. Great. Just great. Important to note that prices are subject to change before the game is launched worldwide on December 11. Still, that's the age we live in now. Thing is, there are people that will buy this stupid car too. Hands-on with Angry Birds Go! - here's everything you can buy in Rovio's kart racer [Pocket Gamer, via Joystiq] |
| Respawn doesn't believe in forcing online on gamers Posted: 27 Nov 2013 02:00 PM PST Whilst the upcoming Xbox One and PC exclusive Titanfall is an online-only game, the team at Respawn Entertainment has mixed feelings about games forcing players to be connected at all times. Respawn's community manager Abbie Heppe spoke to OXM and confirmed that they "dodged a bullet" by creating Titanfall as an online multiplayer game. "I think developers should do what they are best at," Heppe explains, "and I hate the idea of somebody being forced into adding something into their game that they don't want to do." Gamers have felt that many titles in the previous generation of consoles had superfluous multiplayer modes tacked on to lessen the chance of the game being traded-in. "The plan was always online for us, so it was an easy answer for us... we were always an online-only multiplayer game anyway," Heppe said. Whilst there's plenty of predominantly single-player titles that benefit from an online component -- something like Borderlands that has drop-in, drop-out co-op -- so often the online requirement of some titles doesn't seem to add much value to the player. | Rad Show: NBA 2K13 with Space Jam Mod Posted: 27 Nov 2013 01:30 PM PST Ladies and Gents, the Gentlemans Club is away this week so I decided to fill their empty seat. With the Steam Autumn Sale going down on the mean streets of the internet, I decided to throw my money at NBA 2K13 for one reason...to use the Space Jam Mod and do a show on it. That's right, Bugs, Daffy, Lola, Michael, and the crew are gonna wreck your streaming faces with mad 3 pointers and power slams in the paint. |
| Gone Home is only $4.99 on Steam Posted: 27 Nov 2013 01:05 PM PST For those of you that said you wouldn't buy Gone Home for $20, well, it's now $5, 75 percent off the original price. Head to Steam now to buy it before time is up, as the sale ends after 8 hours. If you're in a shopping mood, head to our pre-Black Friday digital release sale round-up, which has just been updated with new items. For example, did you know that Persona 4 Golden is only $19.99 now? |
| Audio files hint at future Grand Theft Auto V content Posted: 27 Nov 2013 01:00 PM PST The Beach Bum update for Grand Theft Auto V evidently had more to it than beach themed items. Audio files have been extracted from the downloadable content, revealing various characters detailing new activities from gambling, indoor racing, off road biking, selling drugs, and crashing arms deals. Are casino heists finally going to come? I mean what's the point of having a casino in Los Santos when you can't recreate a classic Vegas heist? Leaked GTA V Audio Files suggest Casinos / Horse Racing DLC [NeoGAF] |

| McPixel developer's new web game is pure chaos Posted: 27 Nov 2013 12:00 PM PST "Your car is falling apart in the middle of the night in the middle of a highway. Make sure not to die. This is important. Control the car using hand." This is Night Rider Turbo, the chaotic new game from McPixel creator Sos Sosowski. It's his contribution to the Charity Game Jam and it's worth a few minutes of your time, or possibly many, many more minutes depending on how determined you are to compete on the leaderboards. Some maniac managed to drive for 36.853 KM! The slightest twitch of your hand usually results in a component of your car being ripped off, and that's when the insanity begins. Night Rider Turbo can be grasped quickly given its simple premise, but that's not to say it's easy. Quite the opposite. This represents everything I love about browser-based games, and the soundtrack is excellent (hit the radio to cycle the songs). |
| Become Sandy Claws in Animal Crossing: New Leaf Posted: 27 Nov 2013 11:30 AM PST Welp, now I feel bad I left my Animal Crossing: New Leaf town to squalor. I assume banditry is on the rise, everyone locks their doors, and floor is filthy with weeds. At least Shrunk's club is booming for the black market scene after the Nooklings' expected authoritarian stand and rationing. If you already have New Leaf, you can animal cross it off your Christmas list and enjoy some holiday themed cheer this December. I barely stuck with New Leaf long enough to experience any holidays. Maybe my heart has shrunk three sizes since the days of the original. Make sure to give your hated neighbors terrible presents. If you could gift tools you could give an ax and say, "Merry aXmas." |
| Toukiden: The Age of Demons locked in for February Posted: 27 Nov 2013 11:00 AM PST Tecmo Koei and Omega Force's Toukiden: The Age of Demons was one of those titles I had hoped would make it outside of Japan -- where it's done extremely well for itself, I might add -- and that's indeed happening on February 11, 2014 in North America for PlayStation Vita. This third-person action game should appeal to fans of Monster Hunter. Here, you're working to take down oni which have the convenient ability to regenerate lost limbs. That's where the ritual of purification comes in. It's all laid out on the official site, but all you really need to know is that there are cool-looking demons that are in need of a good hacking and slashing. Pre-orders at Amazon come with the skill-strengthening Mitama of Momotaro and the Cat Ears and Fox mask armor pieces, while GameStop is offering two bonus mission collections and the Mitama of Jiijima Yae. These items and more can be seen in the gallery below. |
| Square Enix doing crossover with FFXI, XIV, and DQX Posted: 27 Nov 2013 10:45 AM PST If you're like me and you're not playing Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, Dragon Quest X, or Final Fantasy XI, but you're a series fan, skip right ahead to the gallery for some novel fan service. Look at the tiny golem! Look at the cactaur hats! There will be slime gear in Final Fantasy XI, as well as an appearance by XIV's Spriggan. Both have related gear and can be controlled. Meanwhile, XI's black mage Shantotto will show up in Final Fantasy XIV and can be fought via FATE. If you beat her, you get her as a minion. That's a heck of a demotion. The tiny golem minion comes from defeating giant Dragon Quest golems in a FATE. Shantotto will also be making an appearance in Dragon Quest X. Help her out and receive a chocobo hat. The cactaur mask comes from a sidequest assigned by a moogle. I should make a cactaur mask. The Massive Final Fantasy XI, Dragon Quest X, And Final Fantasy XIV Crossover Detailed [Siliconera] |
| Legendary pushes its Warcraft movie to 2016 Posted: 27 Nov 2013 10:30 AM PST The last date we had for Duncan Jones' Warcraft movie was December 18, 2015, which might as well be an eternity away at this point. What's another year? Variety has learned that Legendary Pictures and Universal have pushed the film back to March 11, 2016. Had it not been pushed back, the movie would've had to share its opening day with the next Star Wars movie. Enough said. Warcraft has been on the back of my mind for so long now that I've gone from looking forward to hearing more, to not caring at all, to now being interested again with Jones attached to the project. That cycle will probably happen again before release. Universal, Legendary Push Back 'Warcraft,' 'Seventh Son' dates [Variety] |

| Deal North: Pre-Black Friday downloadable games deals Posted: 27 Nov 2013 09:45 AM PST [Update: Check our listings again for more additions! We've added some hot ones, like Atlus' deal on Persona 4 Golden for only $19.99. Jump on Steam flash deals like Gone Home for $4.99] Deal North is back with a roundup of all the pre-Black Friday digital download deals we could find. Of course, many more deals will pop up over the course of the weekend. We'll update this list through Thanksgiving, and then launch with a brand new one starting Black Friday morning. As always, if we've missed some good deals, let us know! My recommendations? If you don't have these yet, get Persona 4 Golden on Vita for $19.99, pick up Grand Theft Auto V for $33.99, and get Rogue Legacy for $5.09. |
| Live show: LocoCycle and Crimson Dragon Posted: 27 Nov 2013 09:30 AM PST [Mash Tactics airs Monday through Friday at 4p.m. Pacific on Dtoid.TV. Watch Rick 'King Foom' Olson play a variety of games, each day with its own theme. With a heavy focus on community and viewer interaction, you can be as much a part of the show as anything else.] This evening on Mash Tactics, we'll be ending off a short holiday week with a double dose of downloadable Xbox One launch titles. The first on the list is LocoCycle, a silly Spy Hunter inspired action/racing hybrid. While it might not be for everybody, I think it's good to shut your brain off for a minute sometimes, and just enjoy the ride to stupid town that a game like this delivers in spades. Plus, it has cameos from two of my favorite people, Tom Savini, and James Gunn. Sweetness! The second game on the list is Crimson Dragon, a spiritual successor to the Panzer Dragoon franchise. Now I don't know about you, but I kind of have some love for on-rail shooters if done right, and Panzer Dragoon was one of my all time favorites. I've had the chance to play just a few hours Crimson Dragon so far, and have already been hooked by it's gameplay and mechanics. It's honestly a lot deeper and more addictive than you might have expected. QotD: What is your favorite 'dumb fun' game? |
| Vague details about Persona 5's story sound like Persona Posted: 27 Nov 2013 09:15 AM PST Dengeki PlayStation has had some vague hints about the recently confirmed Persona 5. First off, apparently the shackled chairs are indeed part of a high school classroom, though the game is said to have a different mood than the past two. Apparently, the characters, "will be living the hard lives of modern-day society, where each one of them will be restrained by something." It doesn't necessarily sound too different from past Persona games, given that many of their characters were struggling against some kind of societal or personal restraint. Similarly, the theme of "catharsis" is a familiar one, too. So...okay. Fine. This is really little to go on. I was hoping for at least a university setting this go around to bump up the age bracket. Anime and Japanese games seem to both have this common idea that you go through all your life's ills as a teenager and then are a perfectly healthy adult for the rest of your life. Still, I'm sure it will be fabulous just the same, with the same director, composer, and art director from P3 and P4. What are these modern ills that will sweep the characters? Budget crises? Healthcare reform? Having too many good videogames to play? Persona 5′s Characters Will Be Restrained By Modern Society [Siliconera] |
| Review: Mario Party: Island Tour Posted: 27 Nov 2013 09:00 AM PST
I consider myself a Mario Party veteran -- I’ve been a huge fan of the series, with a particular emphasis on the cutthroat days of the N64 titles. There’s nothing like losing the skin on the palm of your hands to prove to your friends that you are in fact the best at Mario Party. Although the days of literal battle scars are left behind, the Mario Party franchise is still going strong. The 11th(ish) game, Island Tour is the first Mario Party title for the 3DS, so I was pretty excited to see how the handheld's capabilities played into the series. Sadly, my excitement quickly faded as I discovered some annoying faults in the gameplay. |
| Nintendo updates Miiverse on Wii U for 3DS debut Posted: 27 Nov 2013 08:45 AM PST Nintendo has updated the Miiverse in preparation for the social network's debut on Nintendo 3DS next month, the platform holder announced today. The update is designed to accommodate the influx of traffic from portable users, but includes a number of changes outside of just tidying things up behind the scenes. Most notably, the community list allows more communities to be be viewed at a time. These can also be sorted with a variety of new filters, such as “Wii U software” and “Virtual Console." Alterations have also been made to Miiverse profiles, which no longer show the number of Yeahs received. Instead these pages now display the total of those given, which Nintendo figures will allow users to focus on showing respect to others. Lastly, communities themselves have seen an overhaul. Posts made by people who have played the game will be shown first. Fair enough, I suppose, but it's kind of a bummer that prospective buyers of a product (or faithful members of the Dafoeverse) will be segregated from the main conversation. The Miiverse is slated to launch on Nintendo 3DS sometime in December. Miiverse Announcements [Nintendo] |
| Turn 10 responds to Forza Motorsport 5 economy feedback Posted: 27 Nov 2013 08:30 AM PST If you've been playing Forza Motorsport 5, you're probably very familiar with the game's awful microtransactions. If not, basically the game uses tokens you buy in-game that can be used to purchase cars if you don't have enough credits. The problem is it's severely broken and takes advantage of consumers, specifically with the value of said tokens being misleading. Players are not happy, and Turn 10 responded to both their feedback and in-game data with programs to be implemented this week as a means of tiding players over for the supposed permanent changes to come to the Forza 5 economy. |

If you missed out on the Final Fantasy IV: Complete Collection and its weirdly smoothed out sprites, you can check out The After Years in full 3D on your mobile device of choice for $16. So Final Fantasy IV goes chibi 3D on the DS, back to a weird, cartoony 2D on the PSP plus The After Years in 2D, and now The After Years has gone chibi 3D on mobile devices. You do you, Square Enix. | EA lowers digital PS4 games to £54.99 on UK store Posted: 27 Nov 2013 06:30 AM PST [Update: EA has lowered the price of digital PS4 games again, down to £54.99, the same price as the Xbox One, Eurogamer reports. So the parity is nice. That's still quite expensive, at about $100 USD, and more expensive than some of these games are being sold physically (FIFA 14 runs £47 on Amazon).] For some reason, Electronic Arts priced digital versions of its PS4 launch games at £62.99 on the UK PS Store. Or, £8 more than they're priced on the Xbox One (£54.99). EA has repriced its digital PS4 library, lowering the price by £3, to £59.99. Or, £5 more than they're priced on the Xbox One. How's that Microsoft partnership treating you, EA? This is why used games exist. You peddle DLC and microtransactions while simultaneously making digital titles more expensive than retail. | Destructoid Holiday Gift Guide 2013: Hardware/Accessories Posted: 27 Nov 2013 06:00 AM PST Like it or not, Christmas is rearing its frost bitten head yet again. I know you're still a day from sitting through fraught Thanksgiving dinners, but I'm here to remind you in advance and offer you a primer for planning your consumerist immolation. Early in the week we brought you an exhaustive list of the only games you should buy. Seriously. If it wasn't on that list, there is absolutely zero point to owning it ever and your loved ones will hate you for getting them an off-brand, off-list game. Just a seething, percolating hate that will end in violence next holiday when you're drunkenly pushed into an armoire by your aunt who sure as heck didn't want a copy of BioShock Infinite when all her friends were talking about The Last of Us. Well who looks stupid and out of fashion now? Her, or the loser whose muffled cries barely escape the armoire? Anyway, here's some hardware and accessories you can buy. |
| Destructoid, what's your take on DLC? Posted: 27 Nov 2013 05:45 AM PST Are you down with DLC? I'm not necessarily talking about cosmetic stuff, or the purchasable content for free-to-play games. I'm also not talking about games of a musical nature, where you can pull down new songs to add to your library. Those are fine. Episodic releases are fine. And I'm certainly not referring to on-disc DLC as there's nothing good that can be said about those. I'm just talking about your good old DLC. New levels, maps, tracks, cars, characters, weapons, armor and so on. Or even new chapters. New adventures. In-app purchases. That kind of stuff. What's your take on this kind of DLC? Do you purchase it? Do you refuse it? Or do you have views on DLC in general? Here's my take. |
| Infinity Blade III's limited-time Turkey Helms are creepy Posted: 27 Nov 2013 05:30 AM PST For Thanksgiving, ChAIR is offering free Turkey Helms in Infinity Blade III that grant Isa and Siris an experience and skill-point boost. That's all well and good, but I don't think I'd be able to play through the game with the item equipped, as evidenced by that horrific image up there. Animal heads on human bodies (and vice versa) creep me out too much. That said, the original Infinity Blade is also free right now. Do give that a download. It's one of my favorite iOS games to this day and with promos like this there's really no reason not to have it. Go Cold Turkey in Infinity Blade III [Infinity Blade] |
| PS4 app The Playroom removed from Twitch directory Posted: 27 Nov 2013 05:00 AM PST While the kinds of creative streaming shows folks have been putting on with the PlayStation 4 app The Playroom sound like good fun to me -- the ones without dudes showing their junk, that is -- they rather predictably aren't all gaming-focused and that's led to Twitch taking action. "We removed Playroom content from the directory because a majority of it was non-gaming related," a Twitch representative told Joystiq. "We will look into adding it back as PS4 owners become more familiar with the games-only focus of Twitch content. In the meantime, you can view all of the amazing gameplay from PS4 broadcasters in this directory page on Twitch." That didn't take long at all. I do hope Twitch eventually brings it back, though I suspect many of the offenders are fully aware of the site's "games-only focus" already. | Skulls of the Shogun launches on iOS Posted: 27 Nov 2013 04:30 AM PST Skulls of the Shogun has launched on iOS, and is available to download via the App Store. 17-BIT's humorous turn-based strategy game, which originally launched on Windows 8, Xbox Live Arcade, and Windows Phone at the beginning of this year, will require 206MB of free space from your device and £4.99 from your wallet -- it's well worth it, if you ask me. Your iOS device will at least need to be an iPad 2, iPad mini, iPod Touch (4th gen), iPhone 4 or anything newer than those. Anyone planning on picking this up? |
| THE STEAM SALES ARE LIVE WHAT ARE YOU DOING GO Posted: 27 Nov 2013 04:15 AM PST The Autumn Steam Sale is now live! Nice mix of new and old titles here. There are Flash Sales as well, with Hammer Watch, Space Hulk, Crysis 2 Maximum Edition, and Castle Story on sale for the next eight hours. There's an assortment of other titles on sale too, from Papers, Please, Half-Life 2, Garry's Mod, Surgeon Simulator 2013, The Witcher, State of Decay, Risk of Rain, Arma III, Payday 2, and so much more all discounted. | Impressions: Skylanders: Swap Force (Xbox One and PS4) Posted: 27 Nov 2013 04:00 AM PST Skylanders: Swap Force was one of my biggest surprises of the year. After two full iterations in such a short amount of time, I didn't think Vicarious Visions had it in them to make the strongest one yet. But here we are, and it seems as if the Skylanders train is taking off yet again with solid early sales. While there's nothing about the next-gen versions of Swap Force that scream "upgrade," the good thing about the franchise is that most of your progress is located directly in the toys themselves -- so it's a bit less painful of a transfer than many other titles. |
| Namco Bandai begins teasing next Tales project Posted: 27 Nov 2013 03:30 AM PST The next Tales game could be unveiled any minute now. Or maybe in a month or so. Who knows?! Anyway, a teaser site for the next entry in Namco Bandai's acclaimed role-playing game franchise has manifest on the Internet, indicating an announcement is looming just around the corner. The webpage isn't terribly interesting at the moment, merely displaying images and video of a pair of the older titles in the series, Tales of Phantasia and Tales of Destiny. Perhaps Hideo Baba and company intend to slowly walk us through the series' rich history before unveiling its upcoming project. That could take a while. Some surmise the game will be called “Tales of Zestiria,” as that title appeared in US and European trademark registries back in September. Of course, trademarks go unused all the time, so take that for what you will. Tales of Xillia 2 and Tales of Symphonia Chronicles are slated to hit North America and Europe next year. Until then, you can always enjoy the excellent Tales of Xillia, which landed on western shores earlier this year. Or just feverishly refresh that teaser site. Whatever floats your boat. | Gears of War and Shoot Many Robots on Games with Gold Posted: 27 Nov 2013 03:00 AM PST Microsoft's "Games with Gold" initiative has been picking up steam lately, with two games being offered free of charge to Xbox Live Gold members every month since its inception. I usually don't get to benefit from it due to already owning the titles in question, but late next month I'll be able to snag Shoot Many Robots for free. Rad. Gold members who don't already own the original Gears of War will be able to experience the game that popularized cover-based third-person shooters during this past generation, in all of its chainsaw-bayoneted glory. For the month of December, Gears of War will be free until the 15th while Shoot Many Robots will be featured from the 16th onward. |
| Hyperdimension Neptunia spin-off for Vita is super chibi Posted: 27 Nov 2013 02:30 AM PST Hyperdimension Neptunia spin-off Hyper Goddess Faith Noire: Extreme God Black Heart is slated to bring another dose of Compile Heart's inexplicably popular franchise to PlayStation Vita on May 29 in Japan, Dengeki reports. The simulation role-playing game is being developed by Sting, the studio behind a number of Atlus-published SRPGs like Gungnir and Yggdra Union. The game features chibi characters and apparently "moe" plays into the battle system somehow. Because of course it does. 『超女神信仰 ノワール 激神ブラックハート』最新情報が解禁! 『ネプテューヌ』シリーズのスピンオフタイトルはスティング開発のSRPG!? | Sony updates device policy to allow three portables Posted: 27 Nov 2013 02:00 AM PST Due to the release of the PlayStation Vita TV device, Sony has updated their policy to allow for up to three portable devices on the same account. Previously, any given Sony account could only support up to two devices (a PSP and a Vita), but as of this month you'll be able to add a third option. This is something I can only hope that Nintendo will explore in the future, with a true 3DS to Wii U account linking system -- not just the unification of currency. Should you need some help activating or deactivating a system, check out Sony's handy guide here. Portable policy [Sony via Siliconera] |
| Those League of Legend legacy skins are back, for now Posted: 27 Nov 2013 01:00 AM PST From November 29th to December 31st, you'll be able to nab all 47 legacy skins in the League of Legends store. If you want all of them at once, there will be a 60% off discount in the form of a Mega Legacy Bundle, which adjusts its price based on what you already own. Note that in two days time each skin will be on sale for one day at a time for 50% off, so check the schedule if you want one in particular. Just note that there will be no refunds for people who buy a skin and want the discounted price later. This re-introduction of limited edition skins has caused a minor controversy among fans, who purchased them originally under the pretense that they'd never return to the marketplace, and hence, aren't actually "limited." I'm kind of on the fence myself having bought a few of these, but at the end of the day, they're just skins, so I'm not too worried. The Legacy Vault [League of Legends] |
| Get Guild Wars 2 for $30 or World of Warcraft for $5 Posted: 27 Nov 2013 12:30 AM PST If you have been looking to get into World of Warcraft or Guild Wars 2, here is your chance to get them for cheap. Battle.net just launched its black friday sales, with World of Warcraft for $4.99 and Mists of Pandaria for $9.99. The Battle.net sale also has StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty and Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm for $19.99 each. If you're not interested in World of Warcraft, then you can pick up Guild Wars 2 for $29.99, instead of the normal price of $49.99. The deluxe edition is on sale too for $41.99, if you want to get some extra goodies to play around with. |
| Swery continues to defend D4 Xbox One exclusivity Posted: 27 Nov 2013 12:00 AM PST After being pestered by the millions of fans who don't want to buy an Xbox One for Swery's upcoming D4, the famed developer re-iterated that the game is in fact an exclusive. Once again speaking to Gaming Bolt, Swery had a few more things to say on the subject, including the line, "Please don't expect to be able to play D4 on any platform besides the Xbox One." He also expands on some of the core concepts in the game, like the ability to touch "momentos" to dive into the past and solve mysteries. Given the subject of time travel the game seems ripe for multiple endings, but Swery isn't saying anything right now -- although, he openly discussed Easter eggs and the value of multiple playthroughs. Again, Swery is seen pimping up the Xbox One's hardware capabilities, calling it an "evolution in style." | Here are the four known classes from EverQuest Next Posted: 26 Nov 2013 11:30 PM PST The Christmas issue of PC Gamer UK dives into some details on the upcoming EverQuest Next. One of those details is a list of known classes, which includes Cleric, Necromancer, Beast Lord, and Tempest. Here are the descriptions as provided by EQNexus: Cleric - Wields either a two-handed hammer or a hammer and shield. Buffing and protecting allies is the typical Clerical duty, but these magic men and women do it with the power of fire, which gives them some killing power, too. Necromancer - Wielding a tome or a dagger and focus object, the Necromancer summons destructive chaotic energies and comes with a companion: a Monstrosity that grows in power with its master. Beast Lord - If you’re a fan of ‘trampling’ and ‘savaging,’ the Beast Lord’s furry friends make excellent companions. You can do your own savagin, too, with a flail and shield combination, or a spear for medium range attacks. Tempest - With two blades or one two-handed blade, the Tempest ‘dances across the battlefield’ and unleashes powerful winds and blasts of lightning. Ought to appeal to fans of action RPGs. |
| Ubisoft finally adds missing Rayman Legends Vita levels Posted: 26 Nov 2013 11:00 PM PST Anyone that bought Rayman Legends on PS Vita way back in the beginning of September was saddled with the unfortunate surprise of learning that Ubisoft decided to cut the game's Invasion mode from the shipped version due to time restrictions. The publisher's best effort at rectifying the situation was to promise that the 28 levels and leaderboard functionality would be patched in at a later time. That time has finally arrived. Almost three months after Rayman Legends' release, Ubisoft has made the Invasion mode patch available to download, according to the game's Twitter account. The opimists in the crowd can think of it as free DLC. Ubisoft's work on this title isn't going to end with the arrival of this update, however. It's been announced that Rayman Legends will make its way to PS4 and Xbox One in February of next year. As gorgeous and fun as this game is, it deserves to be available on as many platforms as possible. You know, now that the whole "Wii U exclusive" thing is a distant memory. @RaymanGame [Twitter] [Thanks, AyooRyan!] |

| European PS4 buyers can download 1.51 update early Posted: 26 Nov 2013 06:00 PM PST The PlayStation 4 is all set to launch in Europe this Friday, and those of you eager to jump on Killzone: Shadow Fall or Resogun as soon as humanly possible once your brand new machine is all hooked up can download the 1.51 firmware update early. Come Thursday "at lunchtime," you can download the version update and load it onto a flash drive so you don't have to wait for those pesky download times. I personally didn't have any trouble downloading the update through my system the day of launch, but I heard some people had quite a bit of trouble downloading it after immediately bringing their consoles home from the midnight launch. So, if you don't want that to be you it would probably behoove you to throw that sucker on a USB stick so you're good to go. PS4 firmware 1.51 available to download Thursday lunchtime [Eurogamer] |
