SMITE God of the Week – Loki, The Norse Trickster God Posted: 07 Nov 2012 02:25 PM PST SMITE God of the Week – Loki, Norse Trickster God BakermanBrad showcases Loki, the Norse Trickster God in this episode of SMITE God of the Week. Loki is a melee assassin, or lets just say “The Assassin”, and his skills give us an idea on just how he is meant to be played.Loki’s passive skill is “Behind You!” Loki deals 20% more damage from his basic attacks when hitting enemies from behind. His first skill is called “Vanish” with this skill Loki disappears in a puff of smoke for 3s. While invisible, he is immune to slows and moves 50% faster than normal. His next basic attack from invisibility (or for 2s after) applies a bleed to his target, dealing 30/45/60/75/90 (+25% of your physical power) physical damage every .5s for 2s and reveals Loki. Loki’s 2nd Skill is “Decoy” now this one is interesting, Loki spawns a decoy version of himself that taunts all nearby enemy minions. After 3s, the decoy explodes dealing 90/155/220/285/350 (+80% of your physical power) physical damage to all enemies in the radius. Skill three is “Aimed Strike” Upon activation, Loki's next basic attack does an additional 60/100/140/180/220 (+80% of your physical power) physical damage within 5 seconds. The enemy hit is also slowed by 25% for 3 seconds. Finally Loki’s ultimate is “Assassinate” Loki teleports to his ground target location. If an enemy god is within the radius, Loki will backstab that target doing 250/325/400/475/550 (140% of your physical power) physical damage and be stunned for 1s. BakermanBrad also shows of the new Game Mode called “Arena Mode” that ironically features a huge roaring Colosseum setting. Bakerman says ” This is what the original game mode ( or now called Conquest) players who were looking for more fast paced God-killing action were missing.” |

German browser game developer, InnoGames, is wrapping up 2012 as its most successful year ever. “In a few days, we will welcome the 100 millionth-player into our games,” confirms InnoGames Founder and Managing Director Hendrik Klindworth. Part of this success is attributed to the launch of Forge of Empires, which has become one of history’s most successful starts of a browser title. On the tails of this success, the developer and publisher has set ambitious goals for 2013. “We plan on launching three more successful games into the market next year, while also bringing Forge of Empires to mobile, and conferring a bigger market share to Grepolis and Tribal Wars,” Klindworth explains. Currently, InnoGames employs over 200 international professionals, and expects to grow the family. “Our goal is to reach 280 permanent employees in 2013, especially adding those working to further our cross-platform emphasis,” remarks Klindworth on the sustainable growth rate of the company. Armin Busen, Chief Financial O fficer at InnoGames, adds: “Forge of Empires has already exceeded our high expectations, but in addition, three-year-old Grepolis has had its best year yet. Our growth has continued to be stable, and in the last two years, we have increased our revenue by 50%.” The company had been profitable in every single month, Busen mentions. Elsword Unleashes Raven’s Rage and Prepares for Thanksgiving Posted: 07 Nov 2012 09:53 AM PST Elsword Unleashes Raven’s Rage and Prepares for Thanksgiving IRVINE, Calif. - Nov. 7, 2012 - Today Kill3rCombo revealed a series of new abilities for one of the most popular characters in the free-to-play manga inspired action MMORPG Elsword. The introduction of Raven’s “Rage” mode gives players a variety of new ways to topple foes in both co-op dungeon runs and the game’s numerous PvP modes. Raven, a former villain turned hero, returns to the limelight gaining a new “Rage” mode. By building up his strength, he can summon a twisted robotic Nasod core that guards and fights for him. When Raven assumes a defensive pose, the Nasod core curls its tendrils around him forming a threatening barbed shield. As Raven unleashes any of his numerous attacks, the core morphs into a wicked spine that impales enemies from a distance. With each successive attack Raven lands on his foes, the core slowly grows, absorbing their energy. When the core disappears, Raven gains back power equal to its final size, making him even more of a force to be reckoned with. There will also be more to give thanks for this week than just a powerful arsenal, as Elsword begins its pre-Thanksgiving festivities today. Throughout the game’s seven unique worlds, players will find Thanksgiving tables in each town. As players acquire Thanksgiving treats during dungeon runs, the tables will fill with a sumptuous banquet unlocking greater bonuses depending on how full the tables become. Players will enjoy the Thanksgiving bonuses from Nov. 21 through Nov. 27. To play Elsword for free, please visit: http://www.elswordonline.com/.
