| Posted: 31 Oct 2012 11:57 AM PDT Joymax has released the Tier 13 equipment sets for Silkroad-R, making them the most powerful armaments in the game. In order to obtain this powerful equipment, players must adventure in the most difficult dungeons. The set was introduced to Silkroad Online earlier this year. By acquiring an Astral Stone, players can begin the process to upgrade their tier 12 set to the next level. These stones are a rare drop from high level monsters, most especially ones found in dungeons. A version can also be found in the Silkroad-R cash shop. | Overhaul Launched for Shot Online Posted: 31 Oct 2012 11:46 AM PDT GamesCampus has successfully launched its huge overhaul for their veteran title Shot Online today. A brand new interface, new content, and a brand new course are the main features of the update. The new UI tracks a player’s stats, avatar, course and room selection, and improves options like mulligans and time limits. It also adds several chat functions, and improves existing ones. The new course, Hyundai Song Gia, is modeled after a course in Vietnam. It is a normal difficulty course, intended for intermediate players to help them progress to the expert courses. The developers promise the next course coming is specifically designed for the highest level of play, however.  A new Town Square has been added for players to interact with each other as well. In addition to socializing with your fellows, it also includes important NPCs like shops, golf masters, an auction house, and more. Guilds can now build the Gleiger Guild House; guild houses can also be expanded to level 9 and 10 with the update. Additionally, a new golf title has been added: Grand Pro Royal I. This title requires level 110, and completion of the first Grand Pro Royal Questline. More titles will be available in the coming year. Titles can now be obtained every 24 hours, rather than every month. The game has also experienced a complete sound overhaul, with 120 sound effects up from the original 49. Over 500 character motions were changed, and two new dances have been added. An event is currently ongoing to give players a chance at a Gold Platinum 1 Month Coupon, 2000 CC bonus, and much more. | Wargaming Announces North American Tournament Posted: 30 Oct 2012 07:32 PM PDT In honor of Veteran’s Day, Wargaming America has announced various events focused on Veteran’s Day and the charitable activities it’s involved in. From November 9th until the 12th, 20% of all proceeds from Gift Shot packages will go to support charities such as Homes for Our Troops, National Military Family Association, Operation Homefront, Paralyzed Veterans of America, and AMVETS. In addition, from November 16th to November 18th, multiple tier tournaments will be held, resulting in a grand final for cash prizes. Total cash will be based on the amount of participants, plus the peak user number on the North American server during the Month of November. Wargaming America will also make a donation to the aforementioned charities based on the number of concurrent users throughout the month. The three tournaments will take place simultaneously to prevent players from joining multiple tournaments. They will be in 5v5 format. Each will have a minimum reward. Registration must be completed by November 14th. Wargaming publishes World of Tanks, World of Warplanes, and World of Battleships.

| Firefall Halloween Event Details Posted: 30 Oct 2012 07:17 PM PDT Red 5 Studios has announced their Halloween events for its beta testing of Firefall. Players can participate in the “Night of the Melding” event, where players can obtain a variety of collectibles, including warpaint. The company has also released two Halloween-themed short films for fans to enjoy. As the event will only be running for a limited time, Red 5 has also extended the founder’s program, which will grant beta access to anyone who joins. The game features an all-female cast attempting to save humanity from a strange invasion force. With action oriented combat, unique weapons, the ability to control a mech for a limited time, and massive PvP battles, the game is set to deliver a unique experience for its players. | Knight Age Announces Repair Sale and Ranking System Posted: 30 Oct 2012 05:48 PM PDT Joymax has announced a half-price repair sale for all weapons and armor in Knight Age. The sale will last for two weeks, and was a surprise event suggested by players. The sale will let players save some coin, and help prepare for next week’s update. The new update will introduce the Ranking System, which ranks the top 15 players and every guild for each server publicly through the official game website.
