| Guns and Robots Begins Closed Beta Posted: 16 Oct 2012 05:05 PM PDT This month, players can get their hands on the closed beta for Guns and Robots, Masthead Studio’s newest free-to-play title. The closed beta will feature content for players to test, and requests surveys from participants to help developers make the game excel. Players can still sign up at the official Guns and Robots website, or visit their official Facebook Page at http://www.facebook.com/GUNSandROBOTS. Guns and Robots is set to launch in December.  |
| C9 US Champion Going to G-Star 2012 in Korea Posted: 16 Oct 2012 01:46 PM PDT Webzen has announced the successful hosting and completion of the GNGWC 2012 C9 (Continent of the Ninth Seal) World Championship in Los Angeles, held by Kocca. The intense tournament finals and individual matches can be viewed at www.livestream.com/c9livestream.
US champion team 'Ares', Europe champion team 'Random', along with Korea, Japan, and China champions will be invited to 'G-Star' held in Busan, Korea where the finals will take place to compete for the grand prize and the C9 World Champions title.
Meanwhile, Webzen will implement the new 'Mentoring' system on November 11 to help new players to easily adapt to the game by encouraging and providing benefits for skilled high-level players to mentor new players.
Jihun Lee, Head of Global Publishing, said, "We were excited to experience the enthusiasm towards C9 during the US final tournament in Los Angeles and we are looking forward to G-Star World Championship." He also said, "We anticipate the new 'Mentoring' system to enhance the gameplay experience with various benefits provided to both new and existing players of C9." |

Joymax has announced the launch of a new major update to Knight Age today. The update introduces Siege Warfare, a new way to PvP in Knight Age. Siege Warfare is a large PvP battle between Orders of Knights, and lasts an hour, during which players must seek to rack up as many points as they can by touching the Crystal. The victor of the match will become Lord of Tintagel Castle, where an exclusive merchant with high level items can be accessed. This weekly skirmish will take place every Sunday, starting this weekend, October 21. The first victors this weekend will get a special commemorative cape, plus additional prizes for their skill. Halloween events are also starting up in Knight Age, and lets players collect costume accessories, trick monsters and treat GMs, and take part in a big Halloween party with exclusive treats. Halloween events will last until November 6. |
