| Original Zelda Game in Development for 3DS Posted: 07 Nov 2011 09:05 AM PST The first big release for 3DS was The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D. That wasn’t available at launch, and for many it wasn’t even noteworthy because it isn’t an original title. It’s taken until this month for a big-name, original Nintendo game to be released on the platform in Super Mario 3D Land. While 3DS-owning Zelda fans are left to wait for something new, Nintendo reportedly does have plans to give those fans what they want. In an interview with Portuguese website MyGames (as translated by Nintendo Everything), longtime Zelda director and producer Eiji Aonuma indicated Nintendo’s desire to avoid releasing two remakes in a row. Earlier this year he suggested that, were fans to beg for it, Majora’s Mask could get an Ocarina of Time-style 3D remake. In the new interview, he continued to make it sound like an eventual possibility. “It’s something I’m asked about often and I assure you that it is something I’ve spoken to Miyamoto about,” he said. “But recently we released The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D as a remake. We are considering the idea, but it didn’t seem right to launch a remake one after another, so the next Zelda game on 3DS will be original.” So rather than release another remake, the company instead has plans to bring out a brand-new game. “We are already preparing a new game, a game in the series for the Nintendo 3DS, but don’t think that it is a direct sequel to the Zelda titles released on DS,” he explained. “We are talking about a new game, but it takes much of what has been done on previous handhelds.” Source: IGN Posted by: admin in Gaming News Thank you for Visiting Gameforumer.com, Hope you enjoyed the stay with us. |

| The Madden Curse? Peyton Hillis Could Miss His Third Game in a Row Posted: 06 Nov 2011 09:03 PM PST Peyton Hillis was a surprise choice for the cover of Madden NFL 12, yet that’s who the fans voted for over the likes of Aaron Rodgers, the controversial Michael Vick, Chris Johnson, and Seattle’s 12th man. Each year it seems like the so-called Madden Curse negatively affects that year’s cover star time and again in a variety of ways. Peyton Hillis appears to be no exception. Hillis, who is a running back for the Cleveland Browns, has missed the team’s past two games and had not practiced since last week. During practice today, he reportedly re-injured his hamstring, prompting him to slam both the ball and his helmet to the ground. Even before this current injury-filled stretch, the 25-year-old Hillis has hardly been enjoying an ideal second season with the Browns. Earlier this week he missed a charity event for the Cleveland Boys and Girls Club on Halloween which he blamed on a miscommunication with management. He’s been in a dispute with the team over a new contract since the start of the season, then a mini-controversy of sorts emerged when he decided to get married on an off-day following a game he missed last week. Earlier this season he missed a game as a result of strep throat, although there was some speculation that his missing the game was motivated by his determination to secure a new contract. He did say he took the advice of his agent in skipping the game, an admission that isn’t going to disprove that theory. Between the strep throat and his more recent injury, he’s only played in four of the team’s first seven games. He has 60 rush attempts for 211 yards and 2 touchdowns total through week 8; he rushed for 184 yards and two touchdowns during week 8 alone during the 2010 season. With all of this going on, Hillis is said to be losing support in the locker room. A group of veteran players got together with Hillis to help him out of the spot he’s currently in this, with one player telling Yahoo, “I’ve never seen anything like it. Last year, Peyton was such a positive, inspirational force on our team — but now he’s like a different guy. It’s like he’s in a funk that he can’t get out of, and it’s killing us, because we really need him. And we’ve told him that. But we’re at the point where we just don’t know what to do.” Other teammates are displeased with him after he decided to throw footballs off the goalposts shortly before the team lost to the San Francisco 49ers this past Sunday, a game he did not play in. “It was a bad look,” a veteran Browns player said, “and it did not sit well with any of us.” While Hillis’ situation may not be as bad as certain other instances of the Madden Curse — Michael Vick fractured his fibula and missed the first 11 games of the 2003 season and Donovan McNabb’s season was ended in 2006 when he tore his ACL and meniscus — Browns fans who thought the team might be able to sneak into the playoffs this year will tell you differently in between sessions of shaking their heads sadly. | Watch Super Mario 3D Land Live Posted: 06 Nov 2011 09:03 AM PST Mr. Chuck Norris picture,Posted: 2 days ago by g-hose Would you care to elaborate? I personally thought that the game looked great. The amount of detail in each level was surprising for me; I had thought the game might be a bust. Instead, the game nailed the look and feel of mario. I think its different, too, because Jeremy has played the game for a while and is familiar with how everything works. Its always different when you yourself have it and start working through the stages. I can’t wait to get my hands on it.
