Grand Theft Auto V’s First Trailer is Here Posted: 02 Nov 2011 09:30 AM PDT Following speculation that Grand Theft Auto V would be set in Washington, DC and a report that it was set in Los Angeles — which made sense in light of previous indications of the game’s setting — the debut trailer for the game has revealed it is set in what appears to be Los Angeles. In the trailer we hear the game’s protagonist talking about trying to become a good family man before instead deciding to go the criminal route — we see a car being chased by the police, part of a robbery, and other criminal activities. A Vinewood sign is seen (the GTA name for Hollywood), as is a helicopter and a jet of some sort, which would be a first for the series if they can be piloted by players. There were a lot of different environments shown in the trailer so perhaps we’ll get something like San Andreas where we get more than just Los Santos (GTA’s name for the city). A recent report suggested the game could be digital-only. That’s highly unlikely, though, with such a large chunk of the Xbox 360′s install base lacking hard drives or featuring hard drives no bigger than 20GB. We’ll have continuing coverage on GTA V as we learn more. There are many tales of his ressurection, but in the comic series, ‘A Death in the Family’, Talia and Ra’s al Ghul resurrected him in the Lazarus Pits. Cabal II (KR) Posted: 01 Nov 2011 09:27 PM PDT (Thanks to DboFreak for the info) With ESTsoft’s much discussed MMORPG, Cabal II, set to begin Closed Beta tomorrow, a new teaser trailer was posted online to fuel gamers’ anticipation levels. The predecessor had much success on a global scale, but Cabal II is in a different zone due the the game being developed by the powerful CryEngine 3. Is the game looking up to what you expected? The English teaser website is apparently taken down and redirected to the Korean one, this is getting really exciting More info can be found here (link).
