ISRO [Indian Space and Research Organisation] which launced a satelite to study Moon as a whole on 22/October/2008 at 6:21 AM [IST- Indian Standard Timings] at Sriharikota Space Station lost its Communication recently..
News Brief:
On Friday midnight at 1:30 AM once for all communication between satelite and control station was lost.
Its contol station is at a location known as Balyalu on the Outskirts of Bangalore [India].
This Satelite was known as Chandrayana-I which was of a cost of around 386 Crores.
But ISRO CEO sates "We donot worry about the loss much nor we want anybody to worry regarding this as for the mission goal has been achieved of overall target of 92% to 96% as for now, which is much above our expectation".
But they regret to state that even after overall Radio active transmission they are not able to trace and communicate with the Satelite [Chandrayana-I].

Many Space Researchers and Space Scientists from USA- Nasa, Russia, France, Japan, China and many other countries are working hard to track Chandrayana-I Satelite and negotiate connection with it back, though it is not possible yet..
